Like a lot of actors, Maxie has a hard time making a living in the industry. She is a fan of the country-music genre; her favorite song is “A Little Less Talk and a Little More Action” by Reba McEntire. Because of these factors, she wants to take a break from Hollywood and move to Nashville where country music is much more popular. She loves her job and her lifestyle, but she is concerned about the quality of life in L.A. and having more balance in her life.
I know, I know, I’ve been gone for a while—but I’ve been on a “working hiatus” away from the show. I had a lot of things I wanted to get done, but never seem to find time. So, I’ve been taking my time and doing them. The first thing I wanted to get done is to let everyone know that I’ve got a wonderful woman in my life now. She’s the most wonderful thing that ever happened to me, and without her, I wouldn’t be here.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) can’t resist the temptation to see and hold her baby. However, people are starting to notice her draw to Bailey Quartermaine (Harper and Scarlett Bloom). Of course, they don’t know that Bailey is actually Maxie’s daughter. During the week of July 12, Maxie knows the baby is too tempting and considers leaving town.
General Hospital Spoilers – Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s Pact
GH spoilers reveal that Brook Lynn has successfully convinced everyone that Louise “Lou” August is actually Bailey. The pact was created out of necessity. At the time, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) was still a threat. Maxie was willing to do whatever was necessary to protect her child. However, that has gotten complicated as Maxie is really struggling knowing her baby is so close. Meanwhile, Brook Lynn is doing her best to keep the truth hidden.
GH Spoilers – Seeing Baby
Maxie needed to see her infant daughter. Despite Brook Lynn’s warning, Maxie went ahead and showed up at the Quartermaine mansion. However, one visit would turn into another and another. Now, Maxie can’t seem to resist stopping by to not just look at her daughter, but hold her.
General Hospital Spoilers – Monica Quartermaine’s Concern
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Monica has noticed the attachment that Maxie has to Bailey. She brought up her concern with Brook Lynn recently. Then, Monica tried to talk to Maxie and get the baby out of her arms. When Maxie declined, this set off alarm bells for Monica. Once Brook Lynn returned, she was more insistent than ever that Maxie’s behavior was unhealthy.
GH Spoilers – Maxie Jones’ Solution
In the new issue of Soap Opera Digest, Cynthia Watros, who plays Nina Reeves, talks about the storyline. The actress explains that Maxie admits she is considering leaving Port Charles. Nina doesn’t understand why she would want to leave her support system. If she only knew the truth, then she would understand that it’s because being that close to her baby is just too much of a temptation. Maxie feels that by leaving town, the temptation would be gone and Lou would continue to be protected.

“When Maxie comes to Nina and talks to her about the situation with her daughter being kidnapped, she says, ‘It hurts too much,’ and even though Maxie is only telling her a half-truth, Nina can see her pain and agony and understands her wanting to get away from it all.”
However, as the two women chat, the truth begins to slip out. This puts Nina in an awkward position. She understands Maxie’s decision, but sees how attached Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is to the baby. So, will she keep Maxie and Brook Lynn’s secret or tell Valentin the truth?
