Seth Willie Doan is an American television journalist currently working as a correspondent for CBS in Rome. The talented reporter was born on the 26th. in June 1978 in his hometown of Harwich, Massachusetts. His father, Paul Doan, is a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Navy in the late 1960s. Seth is a family man and adores his two nieces, Georgia and his younger sister Sarah Doan’s Lula daughters.

Doane made his debut as an outside journalist for WNYW, the virtual channel of Fox Television Network’s Channel 5. The television station Channel One News then decided to make him press officer and sent him to another country for important reporting in San Salvador, Indonesia, Afghanistan and Sudan. This work led to 22-year-old Seth being nominated for an Investigative Emmy for his impressive coverage of school safety news. He’s never looked back since.

China has been in the spotlight since 2014 for its construction of artificial islands in the South China Sea. Seth even sailed in these waters to report on China’s efforts on the island.
