On Friday, January 20, 2014, actor Steve Burton, who plays Dr. Jonathan Melvoin on the ABC medical drama Grey’s Anatomy, revealed that he is suffering from a rare form of dementia called Alzheimer’s Disease (Covid-19). Burton, who was diagnosed with the disease at age 64, stated that he is currently under Dr. Melvoin’s care and that he “will be fine.”
We recently discovered that Steve Burton, a member of the group Seasons, had been diagnosed with Covid-19 (a very rare form of inflammatory bone and joint disease), and the news has broken our hearts. According to General Hospital spoilers, Steve Burton’s character, hitman Jason Morgan, has tested positive for Covid-19. Bradford Anderson, who portrays Damian Spinelli, has been on tour with Steve. However, when Burton announced his positive diagnosis, the tour came to an abrupt stop.

Steve from General Hospital took to social media to apologize to his followers for having to cancel the tour. Burton also said that he would announce new dates as soon as they could be rescheduled. Covid-19 testing will very certainly be redone in a few weeks to ensure the virus has been eradicated. The trips are organized by Coastal Talent NYC, who released the following statement to ticket holders:
“We regret to inform you that the Stone Cold and Jackal concerts will be postponed. All tickets will be rescheduled for new dates to be announced next week. @1steveburton has recently been diagnosed with Covid. He was exposed at work last week and took a test on Wednesday that came back negative, but he did another test this morning to be cautious before flying out to perform the tour, and it came back positive. He is in good health and has no symptoms at the moment. We are working hard to find a new date for the tour, but we ask that you please patient with us as we work through this tough issue. You’ll be informed via email when a new date is set. We apologize for any difficulty this has caused.”
Steve Burton Is Being Cautious In GH Spoilers
Burton of General Hospital is now exhibiting no symptoms, although he is exercising extreme caution. Surprisingly, the diagnosis came on Friday the 13th, a day that meant a lot to a different Jason. Burton is expected to stay symptom-free and recover rapidly.
Fans must be wondering whether, since he was exposed at work, the production would be stopped down until everyone is clear of the virus. So yet, no mention of a shutdown has been made, but that would most likely depend on the number of those who test positive. Naturally, everyone who has worked with Burton should be checked and placed on a two-week quarantine. At this point, it’s unclear how GH is addressing the issue.

Nancy Lee Grahn, on the other hand, seems to have previously expressed her thoughts on the topic. Following this new revelation, Nancy is chastising unvaccinated actors. “Zone A is the center of all sets. Anyone who has direct contact with an actor who has to be unmasked in order to shoot must be unmasked. As a result, any actor who is not vaccinated puts EVERYONE on the set at danger.” Fans are guessing as to which actor she is addressing with this remark.
