The First Lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo, called on the residents of Ningo Prámpram to vote for a new Patriotic Party (NPP) MP for the region to promote more development projects in driving.

She stated that despite the fact that the population of the district has been voting for the NDC representative for 28 years, it cannot boast of an equal development of its district.

Akoufo-Addo said this during her visit and meeting with the residents of Ningo Prumpram, Greater Accra Province, to talk to them about the upcoming parliamentary elections on March 7. December: Vote for President Akoufo-Addo and the NPP

As part of her tour, the First Lady attended a rally in Davenje and Ahviam in the Ningo Prämpram district, where she met the faithful party and introduced Mr. Alex Martei, Ningo Prämpram’s PNP candidate, to the people.

Mrs Akoufo-Addo explained to those present that although the NPP has never received the mandate of the representative of the Ningo since the establishment of the Fourth Republic, important projects have been carried out in the constituency under the governments of the NPP.

She said that the constituency under President Kufuor’s government was equipped with a police station and police stations with a water supply from Ségué to Prampram.

Also under the NPP-led Akufo-Addo administration, Ningo Prumpram used the One District Plant Initiative (1D1F), which had three plants in the district, she said.

In addition, the largest greenhouse and new market project in West Africa was built, as well as a project to expand the power supply system and build a rainwater network.

All this only came to Ningo Prumpram’s ears when the nuclear power plant is in government, although we don’t have an MP from the nuclear power plant to bring your voice closer to that of the government, she said.

The First Lady pointed out that the pace of development in the area could have been much better if the government of the nuclear power plant had had an MP.

Nana Akua Owusu Afriyeh, outgoing MP for North Belkuma, who accompanied the First Lady on her trip, urged local residents to consider and vote in favour of the many social intervention strategies implemented under the governments of the nuclear power plants, such as the NHIS under President Kufuor and the Free Syrian Army 1D1F, and the recent reduction and abolition of electricity and water tariffs under President Akufo-Addo.

Meanwhile, the First Lady also politely spoke to Chief Dawa and his elders in his palace, thanking them for all their prayers and support for the government led by Akufo-Addo and asking them to support the party as the ANP seeks a new mandate.

Nene Tetteh Vayo Duamor XI, head of Dawa, welcomed Mrs. Akufo-Addo to the palace and assured her of his support and admiration for the administration of President Akufo-Addo.

Despite the fact that the people of Ningo Prampram, including Dawa, had never previously elected a member of the NPP, there was no doubt that they had benefited enormously from the government’s policies.

According to him, the free FAS is a lifeline because it has been able to solve the main problem in driving and will undoubtedly break the vicious circle of poverty.

Nene Duamor Xl. assured the First Lady of her people’s unwavering support for the APP government led by Akufo-Addo and her determination to ensure that the party candidate Alexander Martey will represent her in the next parliament.

Mrs. Akufo-Addo concluded her tour with a durbar in honor of her in the Lower Prampram, where she was welcomed by the current President of the Traditional Council, Ningo Nene Vaka Atiapa III, and other traditional leaders of the region.

Nene Vaka Atiapa III welcomed the First Lady of the region and confirmed that it is high time for the people of Ningo Prämpram to change their MP from the NDC to the NPP.

He stated that the constant selection of NDC MPs for parliament delayed the development of the constituency because the MP did not have the urgency to engage in development projects in the district.

He said he hoped that this time the people would vote for Alex Martei and President Akoufo-Addo in large numbers.

The First Lady promised to enforce the people’s demand for fishing seats in Auiam and to split the constituency in two because of its size with the competent authorities.

She also reminded them of the threat of Kovida-19 and advised them to continue to follow social distance protocols and wear masks.

The woman was accompanied by Jonathan Teye Doku of the DCE for Ningo Prämpram, the chairman of the NPP constituency for Ningo Prämpram, Michael Tetteh, and other state and party officials.
